LKS 404 - ROTARY GATE WAY-IN WAY-OUT

LKS-404 Rotary gate is designed for service in places where it is necessary to leave all evacuation ways unblocked at times when no access control is required. The passage of people is then much faster and efficient. The system of lowering the gate's blocking arm is activated in case of alarm power switch off. The arm folds down to a vertical position after one complete rotation of the head. Such a solution resulted from our observation of the installations practised in other European countries, where even very short power failures activated the system of lowering the blocking arm. The service staff needed then to guard the gates at all times, and in extreme cases it was even impossible to control access to a place at all. The impulse which releases the blocking arm may be given by the short circuiting switch, outside access control reader or badge reader.

• a system protecting a device from unwanted folding in case of short power failure during stoppage
• automatic change of the direction of the head's rotation
• a clutch protecting the gate's arms from overload
• a system controlling the impact of sudden force on the arms
• interfacing to computer attendance systems
• access to the inside of the cabinet is secured with locks to prevent unauthorized interference (optionally, a sensor of the cover's opening)
• a transparent cover over the steering module - thus one can easily check the state of control switches
• as a standard, supports or a column made of acid-resistant stainless steel. Optionally, the column may be painted with one of the colours from RAL palette.

2. Steering:

The blocking system is released by the impulse from the steering mechanism. After a person passes through, arms of the turnstile are immediately blocked and the device sends a signal confirming a completed passage. Unlimited opening time may be set for free passage in a selected direction.

• signalling lamps fixed to the cover or support of the turnstile,
• a slide for magnetic cards with a base for installing slotted readers
• a handle fixed to the cover of the gate (option for ski lifts)
